Creating the first new story for Wallace & Gromit in 10 years, we combined AR immersive experiences with a world class story and AAA production values to redefine how to tell stories for a new generation. Players are able to taking an active part in an evolving narrative with a transmedia structure ranging from comics to real world installations to AR games to films to mobile VR puzzles. Created in partnership with the partnered with multi-award winning Independent studio Aardman, and launched by Sugar owned Fictioneers, the amazing world of Wallace and Gromit is brought to life like never before.
Created under a £5M UK government R&D programme this project aims to set the stage for an evolution of audience engagement methods with a large scale demonstrator of the potential offered by emerging technologies.
