On the weekend of the 15th, 16th and 17th of April, we refurbished the Sugar Creative Studio office.

This is the resulting timelapse of the 2 and a half day project.

Dragon Sports Film Gets Premiere

Throughout November the Sugar Creative Studio video production team have been traveling the length and breadth of the country for Sport Wales capturing footage of school kids getting involved in sport through Sport Wales’ Dragon Sport initiative.

Finally, after many hundreds of miles on the road and many hours in front of Final Cut Pro, the video was given its premiere at the National Assembly Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay in front of a large audience.

The innovative A/V set up at the Pierhead Building enabled Sugar to get creative with the production linking all 6 screens together in one simultaneous presentation with a main presentation taking centre stage and supplementary images appearing around the auditorium.

The film is the first to be completed by Sugar using our new HD DSLR video production equipment.

Our work with Caerphilly Council and its Tourism Unit continues with the production of a series of roll up banners for their exhibitions…

…and the production of 14 videos for their new website showing various attractions around Caerphilly.

Sugar Creative Studio are working in partnership with Equinox PR in the launch and maintenance of the new The Valleys websites.(with Homecoming and Heart & Soul of Wales)

We have been commissioned by Visit Wales to help maintain and update the sites with videos, games and viral content. We’ve already had the opportunity to attend the recent “Homecoming” gig with the Lost Prophets at their school in Pontypridd to produce a couple of small videos documenting their return…

(I may have to try that chip shop next time im close by!)

CarrotCake Digital Media (Now part of “Sugar Creative Studio”) recently delivered a new corporate presentation to world leading tech company IQE Inc.

The project involved a spot of After Effects, a smudge of Combustion and a whole lot of 3D Studio Max to bring the storyboard to life… here are some stills (video coming soon)
