Having won a four way pitch to develop an identity – we then set about the task of presenting logo ideas and concepts to our new client. Founder Ali Torkington (Glam Camping Co.) briefed our designers on how she imagined to logo would be used, in both print, online and even embroidered on some of the bespoke products she was hoping to develop.

Here’s the result…

With this established we then set about developing a suite of logos that would support the main brand – these were to be used to help identify the categories of products that would be sold on the site. Ali wanted to name the categories in a distinctive way and have something unusual, she chose ‘snooze’ for bedding, ‘tidy’ for storage solutions and five others that had a similar effect. With these designed we then presented a concept for the website which we are pleased to say was signed off almost immediately – with just one or two tweeks!

After three/four weeks of development we were pleased to launch the site to coincide with the ‘Launch Party’ on April 14th. Here’s the website…

Sugar were commissioned to produce the website and printed material that is currently being distributed around Wales.

The project involved the production of a new website and a suite of bilingual leaflets and brochures.

Cardiff-based Equinox Communications (previously Equinox PR) is one of Wales’ leading communications agencies specialising in communications services, spanning the disciplines of public relations, marketing, design, social media, crisis management and training.

The Equinox Communications Website was developed in php with a MySQL database backend. It has a splattering of jquery throughout to add a touch of movement when needed…and of course, being a flash free website, it works wonderfully well on iPads too…

Phase II in the development of the new PDR website has just been launched in time for their debut at the Insight Show in Olympia.

PDR is a world leading research, design and innovation organisation based here in South Wales.

Upgrades to the site included a new portfolio area to showcase their impressive client base and a new footer across the site to increase the profile of their core services.

And…due to the website being built with standards based markup with a touch of jquery, and its reliance on flash technology at a minimum, it looks pretty damn good on the iPad too…

The Captains Climb is a group of 15 ex Wales rugby captains climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in aid of Cancer Research at Velindre Hospital in Wales.

The blog will evolve and grow over the next few months in the build up to the event in September.

They were happy with the way the existing site looked but were not happy with the way the site was performing due to its age and the way it had been originally built. The site was also a static site that the client couldnt update easily and the content had started to fall out of date.

Sugar rebuilt the site from the ground up taking away redundant code and replacing it with a more standards based structure and backend.

As part of the rebuild, we integrated a tailor made Content Management System so that the client could maintain the site himself.

Interesting Fact: Cardiff based Bowcom supplied the line marking paint and equipment to the groundsmen at the 2010 FIFA World Cup including the stadium that hosted England vs Germany and the infamous ghost goal of Frank Lampards.

So you cant blame the paint for not being bright enough!

The new website for Saxon Square is one of a new family of websites we are developing and maintaining for Savills and their commercial sites around the UK. All of which have a similar theme and structure to build a consistant style across the Savills network of sites.

The site itself was developed in PHP with a MYSQL database. Each of the new Savills websites has a tailor made Content Management System to enable the client to keep the site up to date on a regular basis.

The sites also have our very own SugarBlast Email Marketing System integrated into the CMS which enables them to stay in contact with customers and track their various interests.
